What is the multiplication table of 426?

Multiplication was used by people over 4000 years ago. Babylonians were considered the first to use it in clay tablets. Multiplication tables are created as a result of people's search for easier ways to solve problems.

Learning multiplication tables have numerous advantages. Kids can answer quickly if they know their times table. It also helps to enhance their understanding skills. Being more familiar with the tables improves children's memory and confidence.

Multiplying the whole numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and so on) by 426 gives the product of the multiplication table of 426. Here are some examples:

426 × 1 = 426
426 × 2 = 426 + 426 = 852
426 × 3 = 426 + 426 + 426 = 1278
426 × 4 = 426 + 426 + 426 + 426 = 1704
426 × 5 = 426 + 426 + 426 + 426 + 426 = 2130

426, 852, 1278, 1704, 2130, and so on are multiples of 426.

Breaking the numbers into smaller parts will make it easy to learn multiplication.

For example, 426 × 4

Here, 426 can be broken into 400 + 26

(400 × 4) + (26 × 4) = 1600 + 104

= 1704.

Use of flashcards:

On one side of the flashcard, write the multiplication problems.

For example:

Front: 426 × 3

Back: 1278.

Repeated patterns:

The unit digits in the 426 times table repeat every 5 multiples.

For example: The unit digits repeat in the cycle: 6, 2, 8, 4, 0. After every 5 multiples, the cycle restarts.
