What are Epic Quests in Fortnite?
Epic quests are similar to Legendary Quests, where you can earn more XP but also get more difficult quests to do. You can find these epic quests in your Quests tab in purple color.
Epic Quests, which are story-driven quests or are related to the Battle Pass/packaged with certain skin purchases, are the other part of the replacement for Weekly Challenges (also known as “Special Quests”).
These Quests are usually divided into numbered stages and award 30,000 XP, V-Bucks, or a Battle Pass item.
Some quests require squadmates to progress together (meaning your squadmates can help you complete that quest, and you can help complete theirs).
Some quests give you a limited amount of time to complete them (Such as daily and event quests) but others give you until the rest of the Fortnite season, and some (usually older character quests from chapter 1 – or vbuck quests from bundles) give you forever to complete them.
Why is Epic Quest so important in Fortnite?
Quests are an integral part of Fortnite. They give you XP to redeem rewards on the Battle Pass, but working through Quests and Challenges could have the potential to be real headaches.
The main reason to complete Epic Quests is to collect all the Battle Pass XP they offer.
Since the Battle Pass is a paid feature, no player would like to waste their money by not completing the entire progress of the Pass, which is available only for the duration of a particular season.
