What is the Divisibility Rule of 521?

The divisibility rule for 521 is a method by which we can find out if a number is divisible by 521 or not without using the division method. Check whether 1563 is divisible by 521 with the divisibility rule.

Step 1: Multiply the last digit of the number by 2. In 1563, the last digit is 3, so multiply it by 2. 3 × 2 = 6.

Step 2: Subtract the result from Step 1 from the remaining values, but do not include the last digit. i.e., 156 - 6 = 150.

Step 3: Divide the result from Step 2 by 521. If it divides evenly, the number is divisible by 521. In this case, 150 is not divisible evenly by 521, so 1563 is not divisible by 521.
