New Additions and Changes
Let’s start by looking at all the new additions and changes that this platform has brought for its users.
- Blocks
- Copper Ore
When it is mined, copper ores drop 2–5 raw copper items instead of 2–3, which affects the amount of raw copper that is acquired after a long mining session. A single ore can yield up to 20 units of raw copper with Fortune III instead of 12. It is generated between layers Y = 0 to Y = 16.
- Stonecutter
We can use a copper block in a stonecutter because now it gives us 4 cut copper blocks, 4 cut copper slabs, or 8 cut copper stairs.
- Mobs
- Axolotls
Because it only spawns in water that is above the clay blocks in lush caves, it is now restricted.
- Cod, Salmon, Pufferfish, Tropical Fish, octopus Squid, and Dolphins
These mobs now only appear or spawn in the water between layers Y = 50 and Y = 64.
Tropical fishes, on the other hand, now spawn in lush caverns at any height, regardless of layer.
The shiny octopuses are now limited to spawning only in water blocks that are below layer Y=30.
- Glow Squids
Glow liquids are limited to spawning only in water blocks that are under Y=30.
- Goats
Goats no longer spawn in the “Stony Peaks” biome

The recent updates in Minecraft creeper have brought some changes to the game’s biome generation. Non-cave biomes that are surface biomes, such as savannas in the sky, no longer undergo height-related variations. Additionally, the relative size of certain biomes has been adjusted to align more closely with the 1.17 version, resulting in an increase in the average size of most biomes. As a result of these alterations, players can expect that the biomes are no longer situated in the same locations as before, adding a fresh element of exploration and discovery to the game, which can be exciting activities for kids who love Minecraft paintings.
