The Trident is the best Weapon that is available in Minecraft and can be used in underwater battles to fight with aquatic animals. Unique and employed in both melee and ranged combat, tridents are. Due to the fact that we cannot utilize the bow over here, underwater engagements are exceedingly challenging.

The trident makes this thing easy and helps to catch fish, access mobs that are difficult to catch, and helps to fight against the aquatic mobs. The non-enchanted form can dish out more than a diamond sword even though the attack speed is a little lower so that we can throw a trident up to 80 blocks away.

Trident Minecraft Recipe

The Trident is a highly uncommon and powerful weapon in Minecraft games, yet we are unable to make one. Therefore, we must take it from the underwater mob’s possession by either fighting them or being drowned. We can also grab Trident from the cold, dead, soggy hands of a Drowned mob. One of the new zombies that are introduced with the Aquatic update. But still, it is a very rare drop from Drowned. The Trident is a mob drop and as powerful as a diamond sword. It is an excellent weapon in Minecraft adventure games and is strong enough to take out a Drowned.

How to get the Trident in Minecraft?

Minecraft Trident has to acquire it from the hands of dead drowned mobs and we can use Minecraft seeds to create underwater worlds for increasing the chance to spawn Downed zombie mobs.

A drowned is an underwater zombie which helps the player to hold a trident in its hands. Tridents that are thrown by Drowned cannot be picked up, just like how we do it for arrows that are fired by Skeletons.

Trident in Minecraft

The best course of action is to attack the drowned and attempt to take their tridents, as there is a low likelihood that they will drop them when they drown. Find a body of water to start with. Engaging in this strategy not only adds a dynamic element to the gameplay but also becomes a form of learning within Minecraft. It’s akin to participating in coding courses for kids where they learn through practical application, here, the lesson is about strategy, probability, and the dynamics of in-game combat as players aim to acquire valuable tridents within the virtual world.

Search for the enemies who are listed as drowned by heading underwater. The chance of finding them spawning in rivers or oceans and killing them so they can drop their tridents is extremely slim, about 8.5%.

Note: The river has a smaller amount of water when compared to the ocean, so the chances of getting drawn are higher here.

When the mobs/animals throw it towards the player and we cannot pick it up if you missed it. But the players can pick it from the ground when another player throws it.

Drowned has a 15% chance of spawning with a Trident in Bedrock Edition and a 6.25% chance in Java Edition. They will themselves have an 8.5% chance of dropping Trident items upon death.

We can also increase the chances with the help of looting enchantment which is an 8.5% chance of looting it from the drowned. The normal chance of dropping a trident is 11% but the Looting Enchantment will increase the chance by 2% at every level and the maximum is about 17% chances.

Trident Repair in Minecraft Game

The Minecraft Trident is pretty tricky to get hold of; we have to spend hours diving around in search of one. We also want to farm a few of these too, and they have random durability, which means it is a matter of only one time until one breaks. So, to repair a Trident in a Minecraft game, we can simply combine two Tridents at an anvil. This aspect of trident maintenance not only adds a layer of strategy to the gameplay but can also be seen as an educational game for kids within Minecraft. It introduces concepts of resource management, durability, and repair mechanisms in a fun and interactive manner.

In the video game Minecraft, a trident has the same level of durability as an iron sword, and it decreases slightly with each usage. Consider enchanting the item with Mending so that the durability takes care of itself if we don’t want to spend a lot of time hunting down Tridents.

As previously noted, the trident is a very strong and versatile weapon in Minecraft for Java Edition. Its attack speed is 1.1, and its regular attack deals 9 points of damage. The ranged attack deals 8 points of damage, which is far more than an uncharged bow shot but one point less than a fully charged bow shot, and winding up a critical strike with the trident can take off 13 points of damage. Understanding the intricacies of weapon attributes not only enhances the gameplay but can also be viewed as a form of personal development within Minecraft. Players learn to strategize and utilize different tools effectively, honing their skills for a more successful and enjoyable gaming experience.

Trident Enchantments Minecraft Game

The Trident feature is to hold a unique Enchantment. The player can boost the chances if the player has a Looting enchantment, so make sure to head out with that equipped to make farming more efficient. Following is the list of Minecraft trident enchantments:

  • Loyalty –After throwing the trident, it comes back to the player after a few seconds.
  • Channeling – if a thrown trident hits a mob/aquatic animal during a thunderstorm, then a lightning bolt is summoned, it helps in dealing heaps of damage.
  • Riptide – throwing a trident underwater or in rain transports the player can fly with the tridents during rain or snowfall by using this enchant that is incompatible with Loyalty and Channeling.
  • Impaling deals with extra melee damage and ranged damage to aquatic mobs but not Drowned.
  • Unbreaking – it is used to increase durability.
  • Mending – when the trident is equipped, collected XP orbs help repair the trident instead of boosting the player’s XP, so it helps to increase and restore the durability of Trident XP orbs.
  • Curse of Vanishing – the Trident disappears after death.

A looted Trident has random durability which helps the player to improve or repair just by combining two tridents and mending and unbreaking enchants which will help the player from having new ones again and again.

The player can create and customize a Minecraft shield to use with a Minecraft trident to take down enemies, especially if the player is venturing to the Minecraft Nether.

How can we make a Trident Farm?

The easiest way to farm tridents in Minecraft games is the ‘Aerial Platform’ Method. To do this, there should be spawning drowned on an aerial platform that is right above the player, and the player should stand beyond the spawning range in the other areas. This trident farming technique not only provides an efficient way to gather valuable items in the game but also turns the Minecraft world into an interactive space for fun games for kids. It involves strategic planning and execution, offering an engaging and enjoyable experience within the virtual realm. To do the Aerial Platform farming we should have or collect the following materials such as –

  • Cobblestone
  • Glass
  • Slabs
  • Wooden buttons or signs
  • Water
  • Hoppers
  • Chests

Conclusion
