What is Creeper?

Creeper is invented by the sandbox video game Minecraft for the purposes of fiction. Where to Find Creepers? 

You can find Creepers in Minecraft treehouse in most world biomes in light levels of 7  or less. They spawn usually at night in dark areas. So it is a good idea to always put a torch in the house.

How to Survive a Creeper Explosion? 

Surviving with a creeper is a bit of a complicated task or a tricky process. Listed below are recommended to-do lists to defeat a creeper safely.

• Hear and Move
• Run and Attack
• Use Shield
• Shoot with Arrow
• Run Forward putting the block behind you
• Dig Down
• Keep a pet cat
• Tame ocelot

1. Hear and Move 
   If you heard “ssssss…” coming from behind you, don’t look back as it may reduce the chance of fleeing. Just take your sword out and run forward without looking back.

2. Run and Attack 

If a player wants some gunpowder from a creeper then players have to kill them using a simple attack or hit and then run. The probability of an explosion will decrease if players flee as soon as they are struck or attacked. Keep using these tactics to get the creeper to kill and get XP and gunpowder.

You can attack with your swords and kill them.

3. Use Shield 

Using one iron ingot and six wooden blocks craft your shield to survive with creepers. You can use shields for incoming attacks as well as in-hand or off-hand. Shields can be instantly destroyed by players, and when creepers attack, they will move into a safe area. The best and safest way to avoid being destroyed by creeper explosions is to do this.

4. Shoot with Arrow 

Using a proper safe distance you can shoot the creepers using arrows.  Shooting a tipped arrow at a creeper turns it into a lingering potion.

5. Run forward putting the block behind you 

If players are very pro in Minecraft they can put strong blocks behind them and immediately run forward to save them from the explosion of creepers. This will lessen the damage from the explosion. Here strong blocks mean a  stone, deep slate, etc.

6. Dig Down 

If a player happens to be surrounded by 2-3 creepers that are ready to explode. To reduce the damage either put some stone around you really fast or just a 3-block deep hole and put a block on your head, using this trick creeper will stay there until a couple of seconds.  

Note: This trick only works with Iron, Gold, or Diamond Shovel.

7. Keep a pet cat 

To avoid creeper explosions and attacks of creepers in Minecraft one better trick is to keep a pet cat with you. The creepers are very scared of the cat and they run away when they see a cat.

8. Tame ocelot 

To tame an ocelot, go fishing in a lake or river and collect at least 20 raw fish  (cod or salmon fish only). Once you collect fish, go to the jungle biome and search for an ocelot. Hold the raw fish in your hand until the ocelot comes near to you. Feed the raw fish to the ocelot until the red heart appears over on head of the ocelot. 

Once players tame an ocelot they are best friends of players and you can use an ocelot to save you from creepers because creepers are scared of them.
