A times table is a chart that shows the results of multiplying a number with whole numbers. Learning the times table helps kids understand multiplication. We use an algebraic system to define multiplication operations, construction, estimation, schoolwork, exams, etc. In this topic, we will learn about the table of 800.

What is the multiplication table of 800?

Multiplication was used by people over 4,000 years ago, with Babylonians considered the first to use it on clay tablets. Multiplication tables are created as a result of people's search for easier ways to solve problems. Learning multiplication tables has numerous advantages. Kids can answer quickly if they know their times table. It also helps enhance their understanding skills. Being more familiar with the tables improves children's memory and confidence.

Multiplying whole numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and so on) by 800 gives the product of the multiplication table of 800. Here are some examples:

800 × 1 = 800
800 × 2 = 800 + 800 = 1,600
800 × 3 = 800 + 800 + 800 = 2,400
800 × 4 = 800 + 800 + 800 + 800 = 3,200
800 × 5 = 800 + 800 + 800 + 800 + 800 = 4,000

800, 1,600, 2,400, 3,200, 4,000, and so on are multiples of 800.

800 Times Table Chart

The 800 times table chart shows the multiples of 800. Every result in the chart is obtained by multiplying 800 with other whole numbers, like 1 to 10, and so on.

For example:

800 × 10 = 8,000

800 × 11 = 8,800

800 × 12 = 9,600, and so on.

TABLE OF 800 (1-10)

800 x 1 = 800

800 x 6 = 4800

800 x 2 = 1600

800 x 7 = 5600

800 x 3 = 2400

800 x 8 = 6400

800 x 4 = 3200

800 x 9 = 7200

800 x 5 = 4000

800 x 10 = 8000

TABLE OF 800 (11-20)

800 x 11 = 8800

800 x 16 = 12800

800 x 12 = 9600

800 x 17 = 13600

800 x 13 = 10400

800 x 18 = 14400

800 x 14 = 11200

800 x 19 = 15200

800 x 15 = 12000

800 x 20 = 16000

Tips and Tricks for the Multiplication Table of 800

Understanding the multiplication table of 800 can be challenging because of the larger number involved. But with the tips and tricks, it becomes easier. Let’s look into some:

- Break the numbers into smaller parts:

Breaking the numbers into smaller components can make it easier to learn multiplication.

For example, 800 × 4:

Here, 800 can break into 500 + 300

 (500 × 4) + (300 × 4) = 2,000 + 1,200

= 3,200.

- Use of flashcards:

On one side of the flashcard, write the multiplication problems.

  For example:

  Front: 800 × 3

  Back: 2,400.

- Repeated patterns:

The unit digits in the 800 times table repeat every 5 multiples.

For example: The unit digits repeat in the cycle: 0, 0, 0, 0, 0. After every 5 multiples, the cycle restarts.
