483 × 2 = 483 + 483 = 966  
483 × 3 = 483 + 483 + 483 = 1,449  
483 × 4 = 483 + 483 + 483 + 483 = 1,932  
483 × 5 = 483 + 483 + 483 + 483 + 483 = 2,415

Breaking the numbers into smaller parts will make it easy to learn multiplication.

For example:

Here, 483 can break into 400 + 80 + 3  
(400 × 4) + (80 × 4) + (3 × 4) = 1,600 + 320 + 12  
= 1,932.
