Teacher Trust, Safety & Professional Standards Policy

At BrightChamps, learner safety, professionalism, inclusivity, and educational integrity are fundamental to our platform. All educators teaching through the platform are expected to maintain high standards of conduct, safeguarding, and classroom professionalism at all times.

Teachers must maintain respectful, age-appropriate, and professional interactions with learners and families. Any form of harassment, bullying, discrimination, abusive behavior, inappropriate communication, hateful speech, political or religious indoctrination, or conduct compromising learner wellbeing is strictly prohibited.

Teachers are expected to:

• use only approved platform communication systems;
• maintain appropriate educational boundaries with learners;
• conduct sessions from professional and safe environments;
• comply with all applicable child safety and safeguarding requirements;
• report safety concerns, suspicious activity, or unauthorized access promptly.

BrightChamps maintains a zero-tolerance approach toward conduct that may endanger learner safety, trust, or platform integrity.

Teachers are responsible for maintaining classroom quality, punctuality, professionalism, and respectful learner engagement. Teachers may not:

• solicit off-platform tutoring or private arrangements with learners or parents;
• share personal contact information or social media accounts with learners;
• misuse recordings, learner information, or confidential platform materials;
• use the platform for unlawful, harmful, misleading, or unauthorized activities.

All class content, materials, and interactions must remain suitable for the stated learner age group and comply with applicable laws and platform policies.

Teachers must protect learner privacy and use platform tools responsibly. Unauthorized storage, sharing, copying, recording, scraping, reverse engineering, or misuse of platform content, learner information, recordings, or intellectual property is prohibited.

Use of artificial intelligence tools, automation, or external technologies must comply with applicable laws, safety standards, and platform requirements.

Teachers may be subject to identity verification, background checks, safeguarding reviews, compliance monitoring, investigations, and quality audits in accordance with applicable laws and platform policies.

Failure to comply with these standards may result in suspension, removal from the platform, withholding of payouts where permitted by law, or legal action in serious cases involving learner safety, misconduct, fraud, unlawful activity, or policy violations.
